3 October, 7 November,
5 December
Monday Ovations, a concert organised by the Malta Cultural Institute at the Casino Maltese Valletta.

6 - 16 October
Malta Historic Cities Festival organised by the Malta Tourism Authority. An intensive programme of events will be highlighting the history and heritage of Malta's major historic towns and cities. One of the highlights will be a Valletta Military Tattoo.

- 30 October
Fantasies by the Sea, a painting and sculpture exhibition at Vault 16, Pinto Wharf, Valletta Waterfront. This exhibition is part of the Malta Historic Cities Festival. It includes a selection of paintings and sculptures created by Anton Agius, Angelo Agius, Margaret Farrugia, Pauleen Micallef and Monica Spiteri, who share the same love and inspiration for the Maltese landscape and character.

8 October
Voices for Hospices, a choral concert spanning five centuries of sacred music, with St Paul's Cathedral Choir and local soloists at St. John's Co.Cathedral, Valletta.

15 October
Commemorative Evening in honour of Reverend Mons. Amante Buontempo and celebration of the Ghaqda Poeti Mallin 30th anniversary, organised by Ghaqda Poeti Maltin at the Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce.

16 October
Zjarat Kulturali, a cultural tour to Naxxar and Gharghur, organised by the Ministry for Tourism and Cutture.

22, 23 October
Musical highlights, under the direction of Edwina Farrugia at the Salesian Theatre, Sliema. Organised by Atturi Salesjani with the participation of Maltese established performers and the Atturi Salesjani Youth Section.

26 October, 30 November
Poetry on Gozo at Id-Dverna tal-Mewta, Victoria.

6 November
Zjarat Kulturali, a cultural tour to Qormi and Haz.Zebbug, organised by the Ministry for Tourism and Culture.

11 - 13, 18 - 20 November
Bla Kommixin Festival ta' Satira, a play in Mattese about the Parker at the Opera House who is kept very busy, with curious tourists, people wanting to park, and Members of Parliament wanting to start their debates immediately. Produced by Michael Fenech for AZAD with the participation of Leigh.Anne Abela, Chris X. Grech, Paul Portelli and Hubert Mugliett. This event will be held at Sir Temi Zammit Hall, University of Malta.

13 November
Remembrance Sunday, High Mass at St John's Co-Cathedral followed by a wreath laying ceremony, at the War Memorial cenotaph in Floriana. Activity organised by the National Festivities Committee.

18 November
Poetry Evening, focusing on contemporary poet Gorg Borg, organised by Ghaqda Poeti Maltin, at the Musical Society St Gabriel, Hal Balzan.

19 November
Dawl fuq is-Sinaj, oratorio in honour of Santa Katarina, organised by Ghaqda Muzikali Beland at the Zejtun parish church.

27 November
Zjarat Kulturali, a cultural tour to Mellieha and StPaul's Bay, organised by the Ministry for Tourism and Culture.

3, 4 December
Mistieden Mhux Mistenni~ an Agatha Christie thriller translated by Nadia Polidano and directed by Joe Camilleri at the Salesian Theatre, Sliema, presented by Atturi Salesjani.
 

13 December
Republic Day, Trooping of the Colours Parade with the participation of the Armed Forces of Malta, at St George's Square and band marches along Republic Street, Valletta. Activity organised by jhe National Festivities Committee.

15 - 24 December,
Christmas celebrations organised by the National Folklore Commission at Freedom Square and along Republic Street, Valletta.

 

17 -31 December
Nativitas, an art exhibition manifesting the mystery of Christmas in artistic ceramic sculptures and paintings by Victor Agius, at the Banca Giuratale, Victoria, Gozo

18 December
Charity Dance Show, by pupils from Pauleen's Dance and Fitness Studio, at the Main Conference Hall, New Dolmen Hotel, Qawra. All proceeds for charity.

18 December
Zjarat Kulturali, a cultural tour to various cribs, organised by the Ministry for Tourism and Culture. .

18 - 31 December
Nativitas, an exhibition of cribs, statues of Baby Jesus and other" crafts connected with Christmas time, organised by the Cultural Commission within the Saint Philip's band Club, Haz-Zebbug.
