Religious feasts in Malta are plenty and most popular. They are characterised by processions and fire works and the Maltese Folklore and traditions make each and every feasts a memorable time to remember. If you are in Malta between May and September you will find plenty of Feasts Celebration that you must visit. We want to give you a suggestion... Don't leave the Island before you have visited at least one feast. The traditional feasts of the Saints remain an integral part of the life of the Church in our country and of our culture.

Feasts in Malta & Gozo are characterised by the Traditional plenty of activities that one can visit. A typical Maltese Gabbana stand where you will find the traditional Maltese Foods and you will also find several Popcorn Stands together with other activities.

 

Fireworks will be found in every feast and in every town in the Maltese Islands. Fireworks takes place on a Saturday evening, a day before the official feast and procession ceremony takes place. The Fireworks are started after the band reaches the end of its performance.

 

The Feast reaches its end with a magnificent procession ceremony. The Maltese are proud with the Saint of that particular town and this procession is mostly waited for during the year. The procession takes place on a Sunday, the official's feast day.
